DISCONTINUED The SuperLite Boot Company Argon Mossy Oak Break-Up
Boot. Building upon The SUPERLITE® Boot Companies M.I.SHELL™ technology,
REFLECT™ Thermal engineering adds a natural felt lining against the
foot to trap warm air against the skin while wicking moisture away. An
outer film of MPET also known as Mylar covers the outer surface of the
lining. Originally developed by NASA as a lining in Space suits MPET
is commonly used in survival blankets thanks to it’s ability to reflect
99% of the light spectrum including infrared, the way the body gives
off heat and allowing the wearer to retain 97% of radiated heat from the
foot, in effect self heating the wearer. As felt is a natural material
the lining is removable to all them to be dried.
